The problem of CFAILURE output

Hi, everyone.

When I tested a simple example of the stretch failure of unidirectional composite plate, I cannot found the results of CSTRESS and CSTRAIN, CFAILURE in HyperView.SOUT in PCOMP and CSTRESS and CSTRAIN, CFAILURE in Global Output Request are setted.

Can anybody give me some advices?

Hi @mansin

I am able to see results in HyperView.

Can you change the format type to H3D in global output request and check if that helps?

If still, that doesn't help, please share the Version and update details.

I have got the results in HyperView after I reboot the computer. Thank your very much for the reply.

But I have another question about the result of 'Composite Failure' and 'Composite Failure Index'. In this example (the attached hm file), why are the result of Composite Failure (Ply Failure, Ply 1) all minus values? What does the result mean? What's the relationship between Composite Failure and Composite Failure Index? If only one ply in the model, the Composite Failure Index has no value ?
