Dear Team,

I am Observing an error message while doing the topological optimization of solid geometry, 'VOLFRAC response on DRESP1 card 1 is not applied to a topology or free-size domain'. 

lase find herewith attached snapshot for your reference. 

Kindly support to resolve the error. Also need to understand how to assign a DRESP1 card to design variable defined for topology.

it is very difficult to tell what is goning wrong without further information.

At least sending a picture of your browser, so that we know what is being performed here.

 

But i'd check if your VOLFRAC response is targeting a specific property, or if it is taking the whole model.

From the error message alone, maybe you're not using the whole model, but only a specific set of properties, specially those that are not optimized.
