Hello,

What is the difference between Wheel in Trailing Arm Mono shock and Wheel part in Rear tire. Where to set the mass for the wheel and for the tire ?

    hi Draucis,

You can check the body which is assosiated with Autotire(shown below). The complete wheel/tire assembly mass can be applied within the panel 2nd page (property files) and keep the negligible mass for the wheel/wheel part. Even you apply some mass to wheel/wheel part and remaining to inside autotire panel. But make sure that total wheel/tire assembly should be matched with the actual measured/designed value.

To cross check the mass and inertia info, you can go to Tools menu -> CG/Inertia Summary

    thanks,

    Hello Jagadeesh,

Yes, now I am clear about things and yes, the CG/Intertia Summary is a tool which I use a lot. Thanks Again :)
