How can we check the wheel displacement for a motorbike model
Hello,
I know that I can check the suspension travel in the results. Is there any way from which we can see the wheel travel. Or can we just use motion ratio to calculate it? any inputs helps.

hi Draucis,
The "wheel center displacement" output requests are available in instrumentation system, below given plot info may help you.
thanks,

Hello,
Thanks for replying, yes, I got it. I wanted to ask one more thing, the force coming on the Mono shock mentioned as spring force and the one mentioned as Damper force, do we just add both of them to get the total force on the shock?

hi Draucis,
1] Spring force is calculated internally based on spring stiffness, preload and spring displacement along the axis of the spring.
2] Damping force is calculated based on damping force and velocity curve inputs and damper velocity along the axis of the damper.
3] so by adding spring and damping force , you will get the resultant force without the involvement of shock tube and rod mass.
4] To capture all the above forces, define output request on shock end joints (shock to frame or shock to trailing arm) force
