Hello,
I would like to optimize a rather complex component with my student license of Inspire and check the displacements. However, after successful optimization, the subsequent analysis aborts with the following error:

In the execution folder I can find the following message under this error:

*** ERROR # 6531 ***
The slave of CONTACT 1 is defined on element(s) with incorrect
 node numbering (e.g., element 1547292).

I would be very happy if someone could explain me where the error is and how I coud fix it. I'm running out of time.

Thanks in advance

Kind regards
AJ

    Addition:
Oddly enough, when you run the analysis using the analysis button, it runs through successfully (green flag).
Then an exclamation mark appears and it says that the analysis is incomplete.

    Hi,
I guess it's a bit late for you, but I had the same issue which was due to a heavily distorted element among the ones I created contacts on.
Remeshing the faulty components solved the problem.

    Hello,

I had the same issue and I succeed not to remesh my parts.
I have shell elements (QAXI), thus I reversed the normals, then I renumbered the nodes, and It worked !

    I hope it could help.
