Create bone layers
Hello,
I am having problem with creating layers of bone. I intended to change this:
Into something like this:
It was created in Blender. I used Boolean operation with adding a plane as the cutter.
However, the resulting mesh cultivated were not good, as shown below:
Is there any way in Hypermesh to make the meshing gets better with having nodes connected throughout the interfaces between inner and outer bones? Thank you for your kind attention.

Hi Peter, Looks like you are on the right track. I would bring in the stl geometries into HyperMesh and re-mesh them. There are a few different options to improve your mesh quality. I have user rebuild and coarsen mesh with good results. See which one you like more.
Once you r mesh is done, check to make sure you have good element quality. No sliver elements etc. You might have to do some manual tweaking if some things slipped by.
After that you can tetra mesh the two volumes.
