Using Monarch DPS and/or Automator, are we able to add the data file name into the exported data?

Hi, looking to add or reference the original file name from which data was trapped and captured. Is there a way to have this referenced within the data output? Process I'm creating is using Monarch Data Prep Studio workspace and Automator. Thank you.

Hi Tony,

Are you trying to add that information to the file export name? Or have it as a column within the data exported?

If you're adding it to the file name you can use the naming macro. See the first image
If you're trying to add it to as metadata within the data, as a column, you'll need to update you workspace to include it as such. Here's an example of where you can do it: See the second image.

You're very welcome. We plan on putting together a series of self-service content for Monarch Server, just like we have for Monarch Desktop. Stay tuned :-)

Yes my apologies. I just added some new content to it which puts it into an approval workflow for our administrator to review. I'll try and make sure we add new content at a specific period in time so users can always view the blog.
