Composite Freesize Optimierung - mass constraint (DCONSTR)

Hello,

I have a question concerning a  mass contraint (DCONSTR) in my composite freesize optimization (minimize wcomp is my objective).

Is the mass constraint (upper or lower bound) belonging to the weight of my optimization region or to the total weight of my model? (there are components in my model which are not included in the optimization objektive and therefor have constant weight).

By he default selection (TOTAL MASS) it takes into account your whole model, designable or not.

If you want to take into account only a subset, you need to use the option 'sum' and select your properties accordingly.
