Automesh and surface problem

Hi all,

 

I am using Hypermesh 2017.

I see following problem in creating a mesh.  The geometry is a surface. 

I presume that this is a result of bad surface geometry or partition.

Could anyone highlight me any possible way to fix this surface problem?

Hello HMuser,

 

this mesh can result from a degenerated surface. Indeed, for such a simple surface, neither bouding elements nor mesh with batchmesh/QI optimize should lead to such results. Then I would recommend to remove the surface and to rebuild it.
