Hello sir,
I am getting error like this.
((((*** ERROR # 4800 ***
Grid 1 connected to element 1 has no temperature
specified in load set 2. To apply zero temperature on this grid,
SYSSETTING,undeftemp, zero needs to be added to the deck.
****************
Too many error messages. Aborting run.
Current limit is 10000. Use "MSGLMT" control card to change this value.))))
I was analysing a heatsink 3D component for a practice purpose, and as per the problem statement I created the spc constraints and temperature on their respctive faces, but once clicking on Optistruct to obtain the result, I found this error appearing in the message log.
Can you please help me out here to resolve this issue?

for thermal stress analysis, all grids need to have temperatures assigned, so that OS can calculate thermal expansion and so on.
Usually we run a thermal analysis first, and then use the temperatures as boundary conditions for all nodes, not only the face nodes.
