I am modelling a Casting mechanism in Motion View. It has a core which is moving and a fixed part into which the molten metal is injected. Once the core is moved into the die the other closures will move and lock it and the molten metal is injected. To simulate this condition, I will have to move the core first and then the other doors. How should I define the time lag mechanism? Please give me an example if any?

    Hi Kamalakar,

     

    Did you try providing motion using curve?

    Hi Kamalakar - There are several ways of achieving this. One easiest way is to provide motions either through a curve or STEP function.

    Attached is a simple example.
