Changing pec to another metallic medium

For solid objects, the region properties should be set to Free space first. Free space means it is not a solid, just a shell. Then add the lossy medium to the face properties and choose a thickness.
See the step-by-step example A.2.2. "Dipole and lossy metal cube" in the Altair_Feko_Example_Guide.pdf in the help folder of your Feko installation.

Mel this object imported from a step file into CADFEKO and when it did it was automatically a pec. I tried to change it to free space then change it to copper. I got the same error: Copper is not unique case sensitive
I don't know how to get around this

Mel when creating a microstrip port the edge can be connected to only one face. Can I create a microstrip port on a conductor that has a thickness ?

I used a waveguide port on the face of the conductor (copper medium)

I am not familiar with this error in this particular context. Please post a screen shot, or maybe a attach a subsection of the model that gives the same error.

It would be better to post a new question.
