Hey,

I was planning on running the test case with more than 4 cores but there seems to be a license error, I was told that I have access to upto 30 cores with the license.
I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
Has anybody faced a similar issue?

Thanks,
Kiran

    Hello Kiran,

Sorry that you are not able to run with more than 4 cores.  Can you give me more details regarding what licenses you are accessing so I can resolve your issue.  Are you using licenses that are available to you thorough an academic institution? If so, which one?
    Kind Regards,

    Eric

    Hi Eric,

    Thanks for your response.

I am using a trial to the full license to test if things are working well in my university cluster. The issue was that I was unable to use more than 4 cores even though I was told that I can test the license for a total of 30 cores at a time.
I am from University of Ontario Institute of Technology (or also called as Ontario Tech University).

Please help me understand if I'm doing something wronmg with the license manager.
This is the link I followed to install the license manager.

    Thank you,
    Kiran

    Hi Kiran,

I have verified that you should have access to 70 Altair Units which should allow for more than 3 CPU solving.  I am suspicious that you have an issue with the initiation of your license manager?  Can you please send a email to hwsupport@altair.com so that we can resolve your issue with me on cc eric.veikle@altair.com.

    Kind Regards,

    Eric
