Beam results in flexible body?
Hi experts,
I want to ask how to calculate Von Mises stress in the 1D beam in a flexible body.
I tried but don't have the results for the 1D beam.
Thanks

Hi Brian,
I do not believe stresses can be calculated for beams or polybeam entities within HyperView from MotionSolve.
I created a simple model in which a sphere is attached to a plate via a long PolyBeam. When reviewing the H3D in HyperView, the only contours that can be applied are Force and Moment.
In contrast, if FlexBodies are present in the model you can display the following:
Can you share any more information about your model? (ie. pictures, animations, the MDL itself)
Hope this helps!
