How to co-simulation between MotionSolve and AcuSolve
Hi expert,
Can you share with me the tutorials on how to couple MS and AS for the vehicles?
I saw the tutorial in the help but it is only a basic example.
Thanks.

Hi Brian,
This tutorial is a great example and is found in the documentation. However, it may be the one you are referring to:
- MV-7008: Co-simulation with AcuSolve
- https://help.altair.com/hwsolvers/ms/topics/solvers/ms/co_simulation_acusolve_intro_r.htm?zoom_highlight=acusolve
I will look for more examples, but try this one out in the meantime if you haven't already.
Hope this helps!

Hi @Adam Reid
I saw it in this tutorial. I want to know how to couple for vehicle dynamics (aerodynamics).
Thanks

Hi Brian,
A good tutorial for evaluating vehicle aerodynamics only (non-driving) using HyperMesh CFD can be found here:
Part 1:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ox2aCp9lQJI&t=0s&ab_channel=AltairAcademicProgram
Part 2:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWJabOLoO2A&ab_channel=AltairHow-To
Your process will likely be a combination the tutorial and the above video, where you will need to create the HyperMesh model rather than have one provided for you but follow similar steps in the tutorial for the cosimulation.
Also, you can always register for our Virtual Instructor-Led seminars in this topic to be properly trained for this type of analysis. Please use the following link to see when a seminar might be available for you: https://learn.altair.com/course/view.php?id=369.
Hope this helps!

Hi Brian,
It seems the tutorial was updated in the AcuSolve documentation, but not the MotionSolve documentation. Step 6.3 shows the runs completed using the Compute Console. Please use the updated manual below:
Hope this helps!
