How to mirror a system in MotionView?
There is no one click Mirror tool in MotionView (yet). There are different ways to get a mirror of different entities.
1. Certain entities such as Points, Bodies, joints, bushings, springs can be defined as Pairs with symmetry. So the pair contains 2 single entities. One is the leader and other that is symmetric is the follower. The symmetry is only about the Global XZ plane.
2. You can create mirror a point to another point using the loc_mirror function. This function helps mirroring with any plane of any marker If you want to create many points along with their mirror points, it can be created using Parametric Points tool.
3. Graphics such as CAD or File Graphics can be mirrored about the global planes by changing their scale in X, Y or Z global directions to -1.0
