I am running a transient application on a 2D PMSM and I would like to know the default temperature set on motor and how to set the required temperature on it.

Hi,
The default value set on the model is 20 C°. I f you want to change this temperature you need to go in the solving option:
Solving >> Solving process options >> edit: select thermal.
This is for the ambient temperature. But if for example you want to change the temperature of the magnet, you have the possibility to create the material of the magnet as function of the temperature.
