I was wondering what are the most common reasons for a surface failing to mesh using automesh?
and what can be done about it?
(I saw an FAQ post by Rahul about this but can't follow the link as it seemed to be broken... it was FAQ17 from aug/14)
There're 1001 different situations. So it's not easy to give you an answer here.

Thanks, I found the problem in mine by trimming the surface into many, I was just wondering what most people's go-to solutions are.
if you use interactive mode to mesh tons of surf, it may not be able. in f12 panel, change to automatic mode is better
