Revolute joint in Optistruct

Hi All,

 

I have to create pivot in the end of the part. The pivot direction is shown below. I do not know how to create Revolute joint for this in Optistruct. Please help me on this.

 

I have tried pins option also. I have created CBEAM and gave pin a =0 and pin b =0. It is like working. But the displacement seems not okay. Is this approach is correct? Can some body guide me in these two approaches? Co-ordinates shown in below pic.

 

P.S. this is one single part and the it should be pivot about floor.

    Hi Udhay,

     

    OptiStruct has a new FE entity for joints. Can you try this?

     

    Goto 1D page>>JOINTS>>FE>>REVOLUTE

    Hi Prakash,

     

    I can't see that option in my hypermesh. I am using Hypermesh2017.
