Hello,
If you are in Ansys User Profile and the element have the correct ET Type assigned then you can directly go to the export panel and export it to .cdb format.
If you are in OptiStruct User Profile. First go to Tools>>Convert>>OptiStruct>>To Ansys
and convert the model.
This will bring you to the Ansys User Profile. Now you can export it as explained above.
Thankyou

Thanks Sanjay for the reply.
I have tried using the method which you explained but I can find only the elements in APDL, not the geometry.
Do you have any suggestions on this?
Thanks and regards,
Bharat

You can export geometry to IGS file and import it to ansys
select 'Export Geometry' on the menu

Hello Tinh,
Is it possible to export mesh and Geometry at the same time (or in the same file) from HM to APDL?
Thanks and regards,

Mesh and CAD are NOT the same, you can not save them into the same format for APDL.
Do export separately.
