Normally, when we speak about 'von Mises' we speak about stress, not strain, right?

    Hi Jakub.Ziontek,

Please request for strains through Control cards>> Global output request>> Strain

When you request as above von mises strain is written out and is a result type in Hyperview, you can plot it as any other result type,

    See

OptiStruct > Reference Guide > Output Data:

    Results Output by OptiStruct

and its various subtopics to see what results you can output and how,

Strain Results Written in HyperView .h3d Format

Hi again. It is ansys analysis. I know that to check correct strain we should look in ansys at 'Total Mechanical Strain', in HyperView there is no similar option. Is it possible to see total mech strain in hyperview (from ansys rst file)?

This result is not available in file. For workaround, Youcan use result math in HV to calculate this result.
