thetra elements 1st order to 2nd order

i was changing thetra elements 1st order to 2nd order, and after it midnodes are disorded, could anyone explain why?

What do you mean 'disorded' ?

i wanted to keep thetra mesh the same, only mid nodes added, but after change to 2nd order. midnodes are not in line between main nodes.

I think you switch the option to 'midnode projected to surf' so they are distored

change to 1st, then change again to 2nd with 'mid node exactly mid point'
