Connecting Optimized Components with Excluded Elements in Altair Inspire using PolyNurbs

Hi, I've been using Altair Inspire for about a week now and I'm particularly interested in topology optimization of individual components that are statically loaded and can be 3D printed.

I have already optimized several components and also further designed them using the "PolyNurbs" function. However, I have a question. I'm looking for a good way to connect my (already optimized with PolyNurbs) component to the elements that I excluded from the design space before the topology optimization. Is there a smart feature or function that I can use?

    Hello Jan Traußnigg,

    In Inspire you can use Boolean>combine operation to combine these PolyNURBS and Non-design space components from Geometry Ribbon. You can also do more geometry modifications like creating fillets after you have combined them.
