Modal Correlation Error

Hi ,

I am having following queries while trying Modal correlation option in Hyper view - NVH.

1. I am facing error while using transformation option in Hyper view - NVH - Modal correlation. Pls find the below image & help how to sort out.

2. How to use tolerance option in Node pairs menu. I could't able to get the values in the below table

Hi Arul,

1. I am facing error while using transformation option in Hyper view - NVH - Modal correlation. Pls find the below image & help how to sort out.

This error is shown because, you have not set the reference nodes properly. Please, go through the Help section to set the references properly.

HyperWorks Desktop Applications > HyperView > NVH Menu > Model Correlation Utility:

2. How to use tolerance option in Node pairs menu. I could't able to get the values in the below table

For eg: if you give Tolerance value as 100, it will select or display all the node pairs, which has a distance less than or equal to 100.

Now i see that you got different error (i.e. now the error shows for solid elements). Make sure you have set the references for solid elements too.

Hi,

The error shows for solid & Shell elements also. How to set the nodes? Is it required to select the same plane nodes for both models? or different plane for two models?
