How do I set coils in series or in parallel in a 3D environment?

The attribute "SERIES/PARALLEL" is assigned to the coil created by the user in Flux3D. If there are symmetries or periodicities in the model, then Flux will internally create "duplicated" coils according to the symmetries and periodicities.

The "SERIES/PARALLEL" attribute determines the electrical link between the original coil and the duplicated coils. This attribute can have 3 values:

ALL IN SERIES (default value) When the SERIES/PARALLEL attribute of the original coil is set to this, then all the coils for the model are wired in series. Therefore, if the current in the inductor linked to the original coil is I, then the current in each coil is I.
ALL IN PARALLEL When the SERIES/PARALLEL attribute of the original coil is set to this, then all the coils for the model are wired in parallel. Therefore, if the current in the inductor linked to the original coil is I, then the current in each coil is I / (# coils). (in the model below, if the current in the inductor is 60A, then the current in each coil would be 60A / 6 or 10A).
NUMBER When the SERIES/PARALLEL attribute of the original is set to this, then you define the total number of branches formed by the original coil and the coils duplicated by symmetries. In other words, the current in the inductor linked to the original coil is split by this NUMBER of times into each coil. (in the model below, if the current in the inductor is 60A, and you select NUMBER 3 for the SERIES/PARALLEL attribute, then the current in each coil is 60A / 3 or 20A. Note that if there were 15 coils in this model, each coil would still have 20A)
