Does Flux have a 3D Modeler?

Yes, it does. A Modeler tool has been added since Flux v12.0. It contains several functionalities allowing manipulating objects like it is the case in the CAD word. The Flux Modeler uses the ACIS kernel of Spatial (Dassault Systemes).

Here are some functionalities available:

  • build 3D objects (primitives, Boolean operations, fillet, chamber, symmetry…)
  • build 3D objects from a 2D profile (using the 2D Sketcher+extrusion) 
  • Import heal and simplify CAD files
