The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate a common workflow for building a multi-body dynamics simulation and coupling it with a control system via co-simulation. Inspire Motion and MotionView are used to facilitate the multi-body dynamics setup and Activate is used to design the controls. Through the inclusion of flexible bodies into the structure of the mechanism, the stresses in the structure are evaluated.
