Missing ply and Laminates, Composite LayUp

Hey there,

I'm trying to build up a composite layup in Hypermesh with abaqus solver. 

I created my mesh and set up property and material,than I created plies and laminate. finally export this inp file. But when I open this inp.file again, the information of plies and laminate are disappeared. What I need to do?

Hi,

 

I believe that for Abaqus and other non-Altair solvers, you need to 'Realize' your plies into each specific solver card (Composite_Section maybe in Abaqus).

In order to do that, right-click into your laminate and hit 'Realize', and HM should convert these laminates into your Abaqus plies system.
