How to Manage Element Type Conversion from Nastran to Abaqus?

Hi All,

I have a model in Nastran profile and I convert it to Abaqus profile (Using Tools -> Convert -> To Abaqus). I have some SPRING elements in Nastran of type CBUSH1D. When converted to Abaqus, they get converted to CONN3D2 be default. 

I want to convert my CBUSH1D elements to SPRING2 elements in Abaqus profile by default. Is there any way I can do it?

Your help is much appreciated. Currently we are spending lot of time changing these elements manually. If we can manage changing type as per our requirement it would be really great.

Hello,

You can see in the conversion tools that CELAS will convert to SPRING2. These elements more closely align than the CBUSH.
