Tutorial Overview

This tutorial is split into 3 parts. The first part uses EDEM stand-alone for analysis of repose angle using in-built tools and manual simulation setup.  Part 2 introduces EDEM Cal for automated simulation setup and parameter variation, Part 3 introduces automated analysis through EDEMpy linked to EDEM Cal.

• Creation of input model of box filled with particles and export of the Simulation Deck
• Physical test of the repose angle
• Calibration of the repose angle in EDEM
• Hertz-Mindlin with JKR contact model
• Introduction to the batch mode
• Introduction to EDEM Cal (part 2)
• Introduction to EDEMpy (part 3)
