In this Tips, Tricks, and Inquiries demo we learn how to use the midmesh tool in HyperWorks 2021.2. This tool automatically creates 2D elements in the middle of your solid to create a representation - all without going through the hassle of midsurfacing the geometry. In case the automatic midmesh tool misses something, this video will also show a couple techniques that can be used to improve the mesh.

In this video we will :

• Create a midmesh representation of a solid with application to both general meshing and batch meshing
• Create midmesh edges to identify part edges
• Repair missing and messy elements with the Repair/Fill tool
• Quickly align nodes to geometry lines
• Automatically clean any misplaced nodes with the Inspect tool
