Working in Offline mode
When using Hosted Altair Units (HAU), you may want to be able to use Altair software while not connected to the Internet.
This can be easily achieved with the offline mode available in HyperWorks, SimLab, SimSolid and the Inspire suite.
Notes:
- Offline mode will be activated for 15 days. If your license has less than 15 days remaining, it will not be possible to switch to offline mode.
- During the time you are in Offline mode, the licenses will be in use and will not be available for other users.

Go to the File > Licensing menu and click on the toggle next to Offline mode.
After a few seconds, you will switch to Offline mode. The toggle will be in blue color and the word ON will be displayed next to it.
