Hi, i tried to joint this meshes (1 and 2) using "equivalence", but when i apply this, the mesh 2 create a weird divisions inside and when i try to see if the meshes have not free edges that mesh looks strange. i share a couple imags about it.
Your images did not come through so it is hard to know what is happening. Have you checked the normals? If is shows free edges the tolerance might have been too low to equivalence the nodes. I always preview equivalence first to see which nodes it is going to equivalence. That can help understand what is going on. Anyways just some ideas. Maybe if you do the images as attachments instead of in the body of the text they will show.
