 Motion on Joints with MOTNJG

  • MOTNJG card used for define Motion interms of displacement, acceleration, velocity, etc for JOINTG.
  • If VALUE field for particular DOF on MOTNJG bulk data entry is positive, then positive relative motion is enforced on joint.
  • The actual motion of joint grids may be towards or away from each other depending on the joint interpretation section.

Contents

ID

Motion set identification number.

(Integer > 0)

JIDi

Identification number of a JOINTG Bulk Data Entry on which the motion is to be applied.

DOF

Degree of freedom component number.

No default (1 ≤ Integer ≤ 6)

VALUE

Real

Motion value to be applied on the identified degree of freedom for the specified JOINTG joint. For more information, see the corresponding joint description on the JOINTG entry.

FIXED

The corresponding degrees of freedom of the JOINTG entry are fixed.

No default

2.Creating MOTNJG

  • Go to Model Browser
  • Right click>Create >Create Load Collector
  • Provide required name for load collector.

image

  • Provide required number of MOTNJG needed in MOTNJG _Num set Field
  • In JID field select required JointG element
  • Specifiy required degree of freedom in DOF field
  • Enter the load value to be applied in VALUE field
