S-FOUNDATION offers two methods for analyzing reinforced concrete foundations: the Rigid Method and the Flexible Method explained in a two-part video series.
Part one shows:
- The differences between the rigid and flexible approach
- An example using a spread footing with a thin-wide slab
Part two presents:
- An example using an isolated footing with a smaller, thicker pad and large lateral load using both the rigid and flexible approach
- An example using an isolated footing with a smaller, thicker pad and a slight large lateral load using the flexible approach
