Altair EmployeeIn order to create the 3D model starting from the 2D one, you can follow the procedure below:
| 1 | Open the 2D project. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Delete the infinite box. Save it as 2Dfor3D.FLU |
| 3 | Open a new project in Flux 3D. |
| 4 | From menu [Project] [Import] [Import Flux object] select the project 2Dfor3D.FLU and click on OK. The 2D plan geometry is imported in Flux3D by keeping all the parameters available in the 2D project. |
| 5 | In order to create the 3D model, you can use the macro ExtrudeFaceRegions.PFM |
