How can I create a 3D model starting from the 2D one and without losing the parameters available in the 2D project?

In order to create the 3D model starting from the 2D one, you can follow the procedure below:
1 | Open the 2D project. |
---|---|
2 | Delete the infinite box. Save it as 2Dfor3D.FLU |
3 | Open a new project in Flux 3D. |
4 | From menu [Project] [Import] [Import Flux object] select the project 2Dfor3D.FLU and click on OK. The 2D plan geometry is imported in Flux3D by keeping all the parameters available in the 2D project. |
5 | In order to create the 3D model, you can use the macro ExtrudeFaceRegions.PFM |
