Dear Sir,

i have done 2d mesh to my model and created shell element and i wanted to assign thickness to it inwardly.

Problem is when i am assign thickness it takes as mid surface and assigning thickness equally on both inward and outward.

Kindly provide your guidelines

Thanks

    Hi,

Use 'Card edit' on the toolbar, select all element, config and click 'edit'

on the card panel activate 'offset' and enter z-off value to half of your thickness

you should better to make 2d mesh on midsurface (geom>midsurface)

    Dear Sir

I followed your instruction. However i could not find ZOFFS like in your photos.

Could you please give me more details?
