Dear All,

How to generate the 2D CFD meshing (QUAD element ) with boundary layers.

Is there is any tutorial other than CFD-1300: Plane 2-D Meshing with Boundary Layers

Thanks

RAM

    Dear All,

I have tried to generate the CFD 2D mesh using mesh-> Surface mesh 2D -> 2D mesh with BL panel.

while trying toi mesh using 2D smooth BL option the following error occurs

    Kindly provide your guidelines

    Thanks

Your 1st layer thickness (0.01) is smaller than node tolerance.

So you have to decrease the tolerance (Preferences > Meshing Options > node tol= ). Try with tol= 0.005 ?

You have some bad elements because the meshing size is rather big.

Try another mesh with a half of  current size.
