Dear All,
Right now i am doing impact analysis in that kindly help me how to give the imposed velocity in negative direction
kindly provide your valuable guidelines
Thanks

RAM,
You have to tell us the solver you will be using,
In RADIOSS, for example, you can follow this tutorial where velocity is applied in the negative x direction,

Dear ram,
I am also doing impact analysis. I have to create initial velocity boundary condition. I need to know which load collector to be used to create a initial velocity boundary condition. And can i use TRANSIENT DIRECT loadstep to solve this problem?. Any help regarding this will be of great help to me.

Hi,
Please go through attached tutorial for impact analysis using Radioss solver. You cannot use Transient direct analysis for applying initial velocity.
In Optistruct solver you would find the concept of defining loadstep which is not needed for Radioss solver. For Impact analysis follow attached tutorial using Radioss solver.
