Monarch v15.3 Crashing When Using Complex Models

Has anybody had issues with v15.3 crashing? I'm running Monarch v15.3.0.9284. I have a number of complex models that crash Monarch on a regular basis. This happens when mining data from PDF and TXT files. The files themselves are not necessarily big. Here's what was going on at the time:
  • Working on a 17kb txt file located on a network, working remotely from home.
  • Model is 453kb and is located on my hard drive.
  • Model contains approximately 65 calculated fields and 24 user-edited fields.
  • Model has two external links: to a CSV file and to a table in an Access database.
This is one of our more complex models. During the day today Monarch crashed on me twice and my coworker 3-4 times. For me it crashed when I tried to launch the Table Design window. Oddly, tonight (around 10pm) while I've been writing this I've been working through the model and have had no issues.

Going to Datawatch support will be my next step but I was curious if anybody had any similar experiences in Monarch v15.3? Thanks!

    Hi Dirk,
I had the same issue.  I worked with Data Support, but they weren't really able to help me.  The suggested we switch from 32 bit to 64 bit.   We also spoke to one of the solution architects who suggested I break my model up into smaller models.  I did this and can get my models to work most of the time, but this approach eliminates some of the efficiencies that Monarch has like exporting results into one Excel workbook.

    Thanks,

    Kerry
