Use of a magnetic surface under a near fields box ?

I can launch simulations with a near fields box installed a few mm from a PEC surface. How can I do the same thing using a perfect magnetic conducteur instead of a perfect electric conductor ? In addition, how is it possible to do the same simulation with a limited surface plane (for example 10x10 cm) done with a material having a permeability of 40 and tandelta = 0.5, instead of a PEC or PMC ?

    Hello @Herve Dutruc ,

Please have a look at the tree attached models:

    1. nf_source_above_infinite_PEC.cfx
    2. nf_source_above_infinite_PMC.cfx
    3. nf_source_above_lossy_metal.cfx

In the third model (to which your question refers) I have placed a local mesh refinement on the metal surface below the near-field source. It is important that the mesh is fine enough when a near-field source is very close to a surface.

Please let me know if you have further questions. Feel free to contact me also via our "normal" support:
