What wizard path is to be chosen for combination of car template in the front and bike template in the rear

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to use the n-post shaker on my custom-built 3 wheeled vehicle (2F 1R). Since it's a combination of car and bike templates, I don't know what wizard path has to be chosen to run the model. Choosing either car or two-wheeler paths individually throws an error while running the model. Can you please help me solve this issue?

Thanks

Can you be more specific about the errors you are finding?  In general, the n-post should work regardless of the number of wheels, axles you have.

Without seeing your model, my guess is there is some issue with how you have configured the Altair driver.  It requires certain systems in place in order to function correctly.

The attached document (also available in the knowledge base), might provide you with some hints in order to set up the Altair Driver correctly.

Thank you for your response. The error I am getting is "Model contains errors that prevent export! Solver deck will not be written".

There is another error in the message logs. I have attached a picture of the same.

It appears you have an unresolved attachment for one of your systems.  You should check each one of the systems in your model, go to the Attachments tab, and ensure that none of the Attachments are showing "unresolved".

This is a common mistake when customizing models from scratch, such as in your example of combining models from two different wizards.

Thank you for pointing out the previous mistake. I have corrected it by making the appropriate attachments but I am unfortunately getting another error as shown in the picture attached.

Those "errors" you see are just warning messages and can be safely ignored.  Those are common messages to see when you are using a combination of models from different wizards, etc.

I have finished making the model and the model does not seem to have any errors. However, when I try to run a constant radius turn, the solver sends multiple messages stating the following before ultimately failing:

"< ALTAIR DRIVER :: Steering Controller: Suppressing warning messages from steering controller. WARNING: [DASPK] The nonlinear system solver in the time integration could not converge"

I have also attached a picture of the error message. I have viewed the animation on hyperview and the vehicle goes forward for a few milliseconds and that is the end of the simulation.

I am not really sure what to do so any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

On contacting the local support, they told me to continue the discussion over here. Is it possible to send you my model via email so that you can help me out or connect me with somebody from your team to help me out?

    Thank you.
