Reticular optimization analysis
Hi,
I'm using Inspire to design a support for a satellite for a project for the university and since the weight has to be as low as possible once i designed the structure I ran a reticular optimization and got my piece. The analysis that is automatically run with this kind of optimization gave me the safety factor and dispacement info that i needed but i would need to run also an analysys to know the first normal frequency of oscillation of the structure but once i try to launch the pre optimization part substitues the reticular part. How can i do?
to be more clear. This is the reticlar part of which i should analize the frequency
and this is the part that lets me analyze.
Is there any way to eliminate the pre optimization part?
Also i would need to analyze the inclination of the reticular piece under thermal loads but i don't know exactly how.
Thank you in advance

honestly I don't knwo if this is possible within Inspire alone (to reuse the lattice).
But as a workaround, if you have access to HyperWorks as well, Inspire generates a .fem file for OptiStruct solver.
This file can be imported in HyperWorks and you could setup other studies using the lattice model (based on beam elements) as you can see below. It is a mixed model, combining tetra elements and beam elements.
