Exercise Overview

You are a Debit Card Operations Analyst at a Financial Institution and your Manager has asked you to identify the Top 10 Customers based on Debit Card Purchasing Activity (Tran Code = 1238), from the DR0042 - Daily Deposit System report in your Hogan Core Banking Mainframe.

To accomplish this you need to do the following:

  • Classic: Create a Classic Model to extract the data from the DR0042 Report
    • Hint: Requires a Floating Trap & the Multi-Column Region
  • Data Prep Studio: Import the Classic Model and the Report into Data Prep Studio to combine the data
    • Hint: You need to use the csv files to combine fields and identify customers
