Find the picklist using RapidMiner and eventually squeezing it to 2 suitable alliance partners...
For analyzing FRC data, RapidMiner could be used to evaluate /predict various team's performance. To help various team's getting started with RapidMiner, I am sharing a short case study where teams will be able to identify their alliance partner for upcoming match.
Results
-
- We have selected the scatter plot for deeper analysis.
- Team 1918 is considered our first option, as total points is highest and this team is good in terms of hatches and cargo, identified by color and size of the balls.
- Team 7553 is our other partner as cargo(identified by size) is our next priority.
The steps involved in achieving this goal is explained step by step in the attached slides. The exercise starts with importing the data, then connecting various widgets and followed by analyzing the result with the help of visualization.
Data file used for analysis could be downloaded from -https://secure.brightonrobotics.org/frc/wiki/doku.php?id=data:start.
