HyperStudy 2024.0 Release Highlights: New Features and Enhancements

  1. Integrating FMI Models into HyperStudy.

A new model type to leverage machine learning models standardized with Functional Mock-up Interface. Currently, only scalar type of responses is supported.

 2. Leveraging Altair  romAI for Predictions

Altair romAI (hosted library in Twin Activate and Compose) is now integrated as one of the out-of-the-box fit models. Currently, only scalar type of responses is supported.

 3. Resolved Issues

  • Preview in Media Sources did not refresh when result file was changed.
  • Media Sources tools did not track original files of inclusion data.
  • Genetic Algorithm with Hooke-Jeeves method went into an infinite loop.
  • Tutorial HS-1615, cfx file required to be updated.
  • Model resources were omitted when archives were generated.
  • OptiStruct Model, when PSHELL thicknesses were used as parameters, did not update the fiber distances properly for stress calculations.
  • As of this release, Xopt is deprecated.
  • Drag-and-drop option for loading archive files (*.hstx) is not functional and it will be fixed in 2024.1 release. Please load the files via browsing.
