Knowledge Studio 2022.0 Now Available

Knowledge Studio 2022.0 is now available to all licensed users and we recommend that all customer organizations plan their upgrades now. Here’s a high-level summary of the changes in Knowledge Studio 2022.0: 

  1. Docker no longer required: With this release, Knowledge Studio no longer has any dependency on You can use Knowledge Studio functions like Keras Deep Learning, Keras Forecasting, ARIMA Forecasting, Novelty & Outlier Detector, GLM, XGB, Auto Feature Engineering, and Handle Class Imbalance without any Docker implementation. This will make your deployments easier, eliminate compliance issues in some cases, and save money.
  2. Upload native models and Generalized Linear Model (GLM) directly to Altair® SmartWorks™ Analytics:  This is a natural point of integration of Knowledge Studio with our new SmartWorks Analytics platform and adds an important deployment option for SmartWorks Analytics users.
  3. New features and improvements in the Explainable AI node: The software now offers a new decision tree tab and enhancements to the SHAP tab. The decision tree tab provides a visual and easy-to-understand way to explain black box models. 
  4. Single standardized scoring node applicable to all native models, ARIMA Forecasting, Keras Deep Learning, Novelty & Outlier Detector, GLM, and XGB models: This change improves usability, simplifies the process of building workflows, and removes clutter from the Action function palette.
  5. Specify custom Python and R execution environments the Python and R Code nodes: This change allows you to use any version of Python or R with Knowledge Studio.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Knowledge Studio 2022.0 requires Altair Units license version 2022. Licenses for version 2022 are available at Altair Sales. Please choose AU Data Analyst or AU Enterprise Suite under Altair Units Group. The unit draws are: 

  • Knowledge Seeker – 30 Units
  • Knowledge Studio – 50 Units
  • Knowledge Studio for Apache Spark – 100 Units
