The new Altair® Accelerator™ web interface allows users and administrators to view important information about the scheduler function and cluster loading. Available in versions 2021.1.0 and later, the Accelerator web interface (dashboard) is auto-refreshing and provides details on queued and running jobs, status of execution hosts, and more, including:

  • Workload pane: a histogram of the last eight hours of job activity including queued jobs, running jobs, and job rate
  • Counters pane: current counts for jobs, files, job sets, and users
  • Alerts pane: the status of important Accelerator scheduler daemons and any alerts flagged by Accelerator
  • Account identity icon: hover to view name of queue, administrator ID, and product documentation
  • Vital signs pane: main scheduler server operation graphs including memory usage, job scheduling buckets, and main loop execution time
  • Tool tips: hover for more information about what is being displayed on the dashboard
  • Capacity pane: tiles show metrics with associated sparklines and trends for the given metrics, and red dots in the capacity pane tiles indicate an alert condition; for example, “90% of the cluster’s memory resources are consumed by running jobs”

The Accelerator dashboard is responsive and mobile-friendly, providing important detail and historical context for cluster administrators and users. View the below dashboard demo, and find more information about Altair Accelerator here.
