Have you ever wondered how to capture small changes between a legacy meshed model and new CAD? Well take a look at Morphing and see if the old mesh can be modified to better represent the new CAD. This video also explores the new Proximity Morphing feature, which helps users more easily control the affected area.

Morphing is a great way to update legacy BDF models to better represent new geometry without the need to redo loads or boundary conditions since the element and node IDs are not changed during the process. Morphing can also be used to create trade off studies between different shapes to reduce stress concentrations and increase fatigue life.
