Picking attribute names while developing the process on RapidMiner

While you are developing the process in RapidMiner, you might have come across an issue where you are not able to figure out the name of the attributes/columns after you have imported the data into RapidMiner. In short, you want to have the metadata information before you run the RapidMiner process. So, the best idea would be to get the metadata with the help of Import Configuration Wizard.

While you are building the process, and at the same time data is getting updated, it would be a good idea to synchronize the metadata with the real data, to ensure that you are working with the updated data. image
